Here's a different take on the smokey eye. This step by step tutorial takes layering to a whole new level. Create a super, three toned smokey eye with colors in black, green and copper.
Eyeshadow Looks: The Copper Smokey eye
Prepare the eye area with Primer Potion shadow primer to set the shadow and avoid creasing. Allow to dry for a few seconds.
Start by smoothing the JetBlack eyeshadow, over the entire eye lid, blending into the crease area and extending past the lash line to create a wing. Then lightly smooth the shade under the lower lash line.
Next, layer the Emerald Green across the top part of the jet black, in the crease area to create a two-toned smokey effect. Extend slightly to bridge of nose.
Follow with the Burnished Bronze eyeshadow. Apply the color to the inner corners of the eye, on top of the black, and slightly under the bottom lashes.
Line the top lashline with Urban Decay Liquid Liner Eyeliner, Perversion in Black, creating a pigment-drenched liquid black lash line.
Finish the smokey eyes with 2 coats of tarte mascara Lights, Camera, Lashes!, in Black. Or for a more dramatic look, apply false eyelashes before beginning.
