The most important thing for the best mascara application is the brush. Mascara brushes or wands come in every shape and size. Each size and shape suits a purpose. And will effect the finished look of your mascara application. Every cosmetic brand has different shaped wands,no matter what the formula is, wether it be volumizing mascara, lengthening or thickening. Each brush is different. Waterproof Mascara: Contains unique synthetic formulas that are designed to repel moisture. Great for athletes, swimmers or to use in the summertime. Avoid using if you have sensitive eyes since it is the most irritating of all mascara and can difficult to remove. Can also cause eyelashes to become brittle overtime. Should not be used on a daily basis.

2 Step Mascara: These are the newest on the cosmetic market. These mascaras have double ended tubes: one is the mascara itself and the second is the first coat that builds the lashes. These formulas are used to vomulize the lashes and to extend length.
