Shadow brushes tend to be soft, large and rounded at the top.
Used for: Highlighting brow bone, blending shadow across eye lid. Best on browbone and light coverage in crease and eyelid.
Effects: Browbone: Light, sheer coverage when highlighting. Sweep across browbone for a subtle highlight.
Eyelid: Sweep across eyelids for a light to medium overall eyeshadow cover.
Coverage: Light to medium coverage
Contour Shadow brushes tend to be soft, yet fuller than a regular shadow brush and can be rounded or slightly angled with slightly shorter bristles than a regular eyeshadow brush.
Used for: Heavier highlighting. Creating depth at the lid crease for maximum coverage
Effects: Browbone: Gives more of a concentrated highlight effect.
Eye Crease: Use on the crease are to create depth and maximum coverage with eyeshadow. Also used to blend browbone, crease and lid shadows.
Eyelid: Sweep across eyelids for a maximum overall eyeshadow cover.
Coverage: medium to heavy coverage
