Eyeliners not only come in pencil and liquid form, now eyeliners come in cream and gel form as well. Cream eyeliners are easy to apply and are very forgiven. They blend much easier than liquid or pencil liners and are the perfect product for that hot smokey eyemakeup. Cream or gel eyeliners may be a more flexible eyeliner choice but don't let their texture fool you. They are made specifically for lining eyes and will last longer without creasing.

How to apply Eyeshadow Liner: Applying cream eyeliner flawlessly

Cream eyeliners are nice in the fact that you can create a very dramatic sharp line or smudge the eyeliner to perfection. Ideal for creating sultry, smokey eyes. Use a liner brush to apply. Either the flat kind or long thin kind of brushes work best. Simply sweep the eyeliner brush across the cream eyeliner and lightly slide along lash line, on the top eyelid. The staying power of these cream liners outlasts regular eyeshadows. You can also wear these cream lining shadows all over the lid for an intense eyeshadow color.

The perfect smokey eye with creme eyeliners

To achieve a classic smoky eye, apply a medium lighter shade of eyeshadow all over lids to brow bone using a contour makeup brush. Next, sweep the darker shade across the upper and lower lashline using a smudger brush and blend. For added definition, line upper lashline with the darker shade using a eyeliner brush.

Tips:
  • Apply cream or gel eyeliners as a base to lengthen the wear of powder shadows.
  • Apply liner shadow at the root of the lashes to give you a more polished look
  • Try smudging it with the Smudge Brush for a softer, smoky effect.
  • Cream Eyeshadow can also be applied with Flat Concealer Brush
  • Cream Shadow can also be applied under powder eyeshadow for long-lasting, intense color with depth.
