Makeup Tips for Brown eyes: How to make Brown Eyes stand out using eyeshadow, eyeliner and simple makeup tricks
To brighten Brown eyes with eye makeup:
- Use eyeshadows that have a hint of shimmer
- Lighter shades of eyeshadow will brighten brown eyes.
- Avoid black eyeliner. Opt for a medium brown or charcoal gray.
- Line the inner bottom lids with a white eyeliner
- Daub the highlight shadow color at the inner corner of the eye
To Emphasize Brown eyes with eye makeup:
- There's nothing like a deep forest green color on brown eyes. Use this shade right along the top lash line or in the outer corner of the top lid.
- A smokey eye makeup look looks extra sultry on brown eyed gals.
- To play with eyeliner colors try this: line your eyes with a deep purple. Then using a rounded tip contour eyeshadow brush, blend some deep brown shadow under the bottom lash line, over the eyeliner. Or reverse it: line your brown eyes with darkest brown eyeliner. Sweep a deep plum or dark green over the liner under the lasline.
- Play with at least 3 colors: highlight, medium and contrasting eyeshadow shades.
- Mix the finishes. Opt for a shimmer highlight, and matte lid color.
